PandaDoc Automation - Claude Document Workflow Automation
Skill Overview
Manage PandaDoc document workflows directly in Claude Code—create documents, manage contacts, organize folders, set event notifications, create templates, and track document status—without leaving the terminal.
Use Cases
Quickly create PandaDoc documents from PDF, DOCX, or RTF files; specify signers and approvers; automatically manage signing order to speed up the contract approval process.
Create folder structures to organize documents, batch manage contact information, set up separate document storage spaces for different business lines, and keep your workspace organized.
Receive document event notifications via Webhook (status changes, signing completed, document updates, etc.) to enable real-time tracking of the document lifecycle and integration with other systems.
Core Features
Supports creating PandaDoc documents from local files or public URLs. You can configure multiple signers, approvers, and CC recipients, flexibly set signing order, automatically parse PDF form fields, support tag-based categorization, and assign a document owner.
Create or update contact information by email. Includes name, company, title, phone, and full address for centralized contact data management and automatic synchronization.
Create Webhook subscriptions for events such as document status changes, signing completion, and document updates. Customize the notification endpoint and additional data (fields, products, metadata, pricing, tokens) to enable real-time integration with external systems.
FAQs
How do I connect my PandaDoc account in Claude Code?
In Claude Code configuration, add a Composio MCP server (https://rube.app/mcp). When running the relevant tools, you will be provided an OAuth authentication link. Click the link to complete the PandaDoc account authorization. Also ensure your PandaDoc workspace has the required subscription plan features (e.g., e-signature, templates, Webhooks).
What document formats are supported for creating PandaDoc documents?
PandaDoc Automation supports creating documents from PDF, DOCX, and RTF files. You can create documents either by uploading a file (must include name, mimetype, and s3key) or by providing a public HTTPS URL. When creating, you must specify the document name and at least one recipient (including an email address).
Are there any restrictions on recipient roles?
Each recipient in a document must have a unique role value and cannot be duplicated. Optional roles include signer (default), approver (approver), and cc (CC). If you specify signing_order for any recipient, you must specify it for all recipients to keep consistency. For example, you can set unique roles such as signer, signer_2, and approver.
