    How do I get Rube MCP and connect Metaphor?


    In your client configuration, add https://rube.app/mcp as the MCP server—no API key is required. After adding it, call RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS and specify the toolkit as metaphor. Then complete the connection using the authentication link returned by the response.

    What if the Metaphor connection shows as not ACTIVE?


    When a connection is not ACTIVE, the system returns an authentication link. Click the link to authorize your Metaphor account, then call RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS again to confirm the status becomes ACTIVE. If it still fails, check whether the MCP server configuration is correct.

    Why must I call RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS first?


    Metaphor tool schemas can change dynamically. Hard-coding parameters may cause calls to fail. RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS returns the currently valid tool slugs, input specifications, and execution recommendations, ensuring that the automation workflow remains stable and reliable.
