Google Meet Automation

Skills Overview

Automatically create Google Meet video conferences and schedule calendar events with meeting links through Claude AI and Rube MCP—no manual operation required.

Use Cases

  • Team recurring meetings: Automatically generate meeting links for weekly stand-ups, monthly reviews, and other recurring sessions, eliminating the tedious copy-paste steps.

  • Scheduling client meetings: Create meeting invitations with Meet links in one step via the Calendar API and automatically send them to external clients.

  • Instant meeting spaces: Quickly create standalone Google Meet rooms for ad-hoc discussions and collaboration sessions.
  • Core Features

  • One-click creation of Meet spaces: Use the GOOGLEMEET_CREATE_MEET tool to instantly generate a shareable video meeting link, with support for configuring access permissions.

  • Calendar integration and scheduling: Use GOOGLECALENDAR_CREATE_EVENT to embed the Meet link when creating a calendar event, with support for adding attendees and setting meeting duration.

  • Smart availability lookup: Use GOOGLECALENDAR_FIND_FREE_SLOTS to check all attendees’ calendars and find time slots when everyone is available.
  • Frequently Asked Questions

    Does Rube MCP require payment?

Rube MCP is a free service. Just add https://rube.app/mcp as the MCP server in your client configuration; no API key is needed.

Can I use a personal Gmail account?

Yes, but some features (such as automatically creating Meet links via calendar) work best with a Google Workspace account. Personal Gmail accounts will automatically fall back to creating calendar events without Meet links.

How do I find attendees’ available times?

Use the GOOGLECALENDAR_FIND_FREE_SLOTS tool, providing attendees’ calendar IDs and a time range. The system will return all time slots when all attendees are free, making it easy to choose the best meeting time.
