How do I export my WeChat chat logs?

WeChat itself does not provide an official export feature. You can use third-party tools such as “WeChat Chat Export Assistant” to export records into txt, html, or json formats. Family group chat records are often more valuable than private chats because they include more day-to-day interactions and caring patterns.

Is the generated content safe? Will it be uploaded to a server?

Processed entirely locally. All chat logs, photos, and voice messages are analyzed on your own device, and the generated Skill files are stored in your local project directory. No data is uploaded to a remote server.

Will digital parents say things that are impossible in real life?

The skill includes a built-in “Layer 0 hard rule” to ensure the generated AI will not say things that real parents would never be able to say. The generated Skill will do its best to preserve your parents’ real “edges” and imperfections—because it’s these traits that make them feel more authentic.
