finance-sentiment
Fetch structured stock sentiment across Reddit, X.com, news, and Polymarket using the Adanos Finance API. Use this skill whenever the user asks how much people are talking about a stock, how hot a ticker is on social platforms, how many Polymarket bets exist for a company, whether sources are aligned, or to compare stock sentiment across multiple tickers. Triggers include: "social sentiment on TSLA", "how hot is NVDA on X.com", "how many Reddit mentions does AAPL have", "compare sentiment on AMD vs NVDA", "how many Polymarket bets on Microsoft", "is Reddit aligned with X on META", "stock buzz", "bullish percentage", and any mention of cross-source stock sentiment research. This skill is READ-ONLY and does not place trades or modify anything.

Stock Sentiment Analysis Skill
Skill Overview
finance-sentiment is a read-only research tool that aggregates stock sentiment data from four sources—Reddit, X.com, news, and Polymarket—via the Adanos Finance API, helping you quickly understand how actively the market is discussing a specific stock and the overall lean toward bullish or bearish sentiment.
Use Cases
When you want to understand the market’s overall sentiment toward a particular stock, you can use this skill to obtain bullish/bearish proportions and sentiment trends across different platforms. For example, check whether TSLA on Reddit is 31% bullish or 69% bearish to judge whether retail sentiment is optimistic or pessimistic.
When you need to monitor how much stocks are being discussed, you can query the number of mentions, heat scores, and changes in engagement across different platforms. For example, compare whether NVDA’s discussion volume on X.com this week is increasing, or compare which is getting more market attention between AMD and NVDA.
When you want to verify whether signals from different sources align, you can aggregate and compare data from Reddit, X.com, news, and Polymarket. For example, check whether AAPL’s sentiment matches between Reddit and X.com, or whether Polymarket’s betting direction aligns with discussions on social media.
Core Features
Pull structured sentiment data from four sources—Reddit, X.com, news, and Polymarket— including mention volume, heat score, bullish/bearish ratios, and trend direction. You can choose a single source or a combination of sources as needed, making it flexible for different research requirements.
Supports comparing up to 10 stocks in a single request, enabling quick filtering for the highest-heat or most sentiment-extreme tickers. Useful for portfolio monitoring or sector rotation research.
Provides a default 7-day lookback to show how sentiment indicators move (increasing/decreasing/stable). Helps you identify sentiment turning points and detect shifts in market attention.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can this skill help me make trading decisions?
No. finance-sentiment is a pure research tool that only provides sentiment data for reference and does not generate any trading advice or buy/sell signals. Sentiment indicators may be delayed or distorted, and should not be used as the sole basis for decisions.
Which stock symbols are supported?
The Adanos API covers major U.S. stock markets, including actively traded stocks on Nasdaq and the NYSE. For less popular stocks or newly listed tickers, data may be incomplete or missing.
Is the data real-time?
The data has some delay and is not precise real-time down to the second. Reddit and X.com mention volumes update according to the scraping cycle, and Polymarket data reflects recent trading activity. For precise timestamps, refer to the API documentation.
