It’s important to emphasize that the digital clone is not a substitute, but a way to preserve memories. It is limited to personal use by the creator and may not be used to impersonate a real person or deceive third parties.

How do I create an AI personality from chat logs?

To create a digital clone, prepare the following materials:

Basic information: her name (or alias), age, occupation, city

Relationship information: type of your relationship, duration of the relationship

Source materials: chat logs, photos, letters, social media content, etc.

This skill is designed with strict safety boundaries:

All generated digital clones are for the creator’s personal use only; public distribution is strictly forbidden

It follows the data minimization principle, extracting only the information necessary to build the personality

It supports the right to be forgotten; you can completely delete all data via /let-her-go

It must not be used for harassment, scams, surveillance, or impersonation of a real person

The generated digital clone files are stored locally in the hers/ directory (added to gitignore) and are not automatically uploaded to any server. However, please be sure to securely store your device and prevent others from accessing your digital clone files.

Can the generated digital clone be deleted?

Yes. Two deletion methods are provided:

Normal deletion: Use /delete-her [name] to delete a specified digital clone

Complete release: Use /let-her-go to delete all data; it cannot be recovered

/let-her-go requires a second confirmation. After execution, it prints: “Some people are best left in memory. May you, in the real world, meet warmer things.”

What chat log formats are supported?

Currently supported:

WeChat chat logs: Parsed with wechat_parser.py

QQ chat logs: Parsed with qq_parser.py

If you use other chat tools, you can export to text format and try importing, or supplement information through written narratives.

What materials are needed to create a digital clone?

The richer the materials, the closer the generated digital clone will be to the real person. Recommended preparations:

Required materials:

Basic information (name, age, occupation, city, etc.)

A sufficient amount of chat logs (recommended to cover different scenarios: everyday chats, arguments, sweet moments, etc.)

Recommended materials:

Photos (EXIF information can be used to extract time and location)

Social media content (to understand expression style and interests)

Your written narrative (to supplement stories not covered in the chat logs)

More materials are better, but not all are necessary. Even with only chat logs, you can generate a digital clone with a certain level of realism.

How long can the generated digital clone be saved?

Digital clones are stored as files locally and are saved permanently until you delete them yourself. Each time a major modification is made, a backup version is automatically created, supporting rollbacks.

However, it’s recommended to periodically check and update the digital clone: add new memories and correct inaccurate dialogue styles so it stays as close as possible to the way she appears in your memories.
